Srilata’s 40th Birthday Impact Fund
This fund operates on the principle that systemic barriers to equity and opportunity can be addressed through targeted investments in organizations that offer critical support and services. Our theory of change centers on the belief that by funding API Chaya, Ashay, and Tubman Health, we can create a significant and lasting impact in areas of gender-based violence, educational inequality, and health disparities.
Why Now:
Increased Need for Support: The rise in gender-based violence, persistent educational disparities, and significant health inequities underscore the urgent need for targeted support and interventions.
Systemic Barriers: Marginalized communities face unique and compounded challenges that require tailored, culturally relevant solutions to effectively address their needs.
Critical Timing: Investing in these areas now is essential to create immediate and long-term improvements in safety, educational attainment, and health outcomes. By acting now, we can make meaningful progress towards a more equitable society and support those who are most affected by systemic injustices.
